Janani Krishnan-Jha (October 5, 1998), formerly using the pseudonym J. Maya, is an American singer-songwriter. In 2023 she participated in Survivor 45, the 45th season of the American reality-TV competition series Survivor. Influenced by Greco-Roman mythology, the release of her debut single in 2021, "Achilles Heel", garnered streams. Her debut EP, Poetic License, received positive reviews from media outlets in 2022. In 2024, she released her debut album, The Rest of the Laurels, with an accompanying novella Katathon.
