Nguyễn Quốc Thanh (born August 18, 1981), commonly known by his stage name Ưng Hoàng Phúc, is a Vietnamese singer, actor, and dancer. He is considered one of the best-selling artists in the Vietnamese pop music scene, with approximately 250,000 records sold. During his career, he was once an exclusive artist under the entertainment company WePro.
Ưng Hoàng Phúc was formerly a member of the boy band 1088, a prominent group in Vietnamese pop music, managed by the company Cánh Chim Việt. After the group disbanded, he launched his solo career and quickly became one of the most popular music idols among the audience born in the 1980s and 1990s throughout the 2000s.
