Elliot Leung

{ Elliot Ho Yat Leung (Chinese: 梁皓一; pinyin: Liang Haoyi) (born August 3, 1995) is a Hong Kong composer working in both China and Hollywood. He received the Huabiao Award for Outstanding Composer in 2023, becoming the youngest winner in the history of this category. His works have been premiered by the New York Philharmonic, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, performed in halls such as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Lincoln Center, the Juilliard School, and the National Center for the Performing Arts. Leung has collaborated with Daniel Harding, Charles Dutoit, Yu Long and Gerard Salonga and has received commissions from the United States Department of State and the Asia Society. He is known for his symphonic works, most notably his film scores for Operation Red Sea and The Battle at Lake Changjin as well as his orchestral concert works Symphony No. 1 "The Metaverse" and Wuxia. Leung was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2022 and as of November 2023, his films have grossed $2.2 billion USD worldwide. {
